Perma Bond SBR is an aqueous emulsion of Styrene Butadiene Co-polymer latex specially formulated for use with cement. SBR modifies the property of cement in mortars and in concrete to make them perform better. in terms of water proofing, repair, corrosion inhibition, bonding, durability and wear resistance.

• Apply passivator coat of SBR+cement slurry.

• On a cleaned and prepared wet surface apply Perma Bond SBR bonding slurry.
• Apply Perma Bond SBR modified mortar by float or trowel to form an uniform smooth surface.
• Bonding slurry sets very fast hence modified mortar application should be fast and immediately after application of bonding slurry.
• Moist cure for 24 hours and then allow it to dry off.

• Coat Slurry = Cement 1 + SBR 1.
• 1 ltr Perma Bond SBR with 1 kg of cement gives a slurry which covers 20 to 25 sq.ft.

• Remove the cover concrete and cutback to the sound concrete zone.
• Remove all the rust from the reinforcement by mechanical means.
• Apply a passivator coat on the cleaned steel and leave it overnight.
• Apply one coat of SBR bonding slurry on the reinforcement and the surrounding concrete surface.
• When the bonding slurry is still tacky apply modified mortar by pressing in position using 10 litre SBR per 50 kg bag of cement.
• Modified mortar can be applied up to a thickness of 20 mm. For building up to higher thickness leave the first layer to dry overnight and apply second layer with one more coat of bonding slurry.
• Moist cure for 24 hours and allow it to dry off.

• Cutback to sound concrete surface and make the surface wet.
• Apply the bonding slurry and when it is still wet apply the SBR modified mortar.
• Feather edge to match the original floor level.
• In case of nosing carefully build up the edge and give a smooth finish.
• Moist cure for 24 hours and allow it to dry off.

Perma Recrete is a cementatious grey powder with micro fine aggregates which allows reconcreting of the damaged, dilapilated structures. The product is a boon for present day rehabilitation engineers.The product needs only addition of water to form free flowing concrete with enormous initial and final strengths.

Directions for Use:

• Mix Perma Recrete with water in the ratio of 4 litres of water to a 25 kg sack of material to get a uniform free flowing mortar. First add 80 % of recommended water to the powder and mix well. Then slowly add water to get the right consistency (water required for a consistency may vary by 10 to 20 % depending upon various factors).Pour this mortar in the rigidly fixed forms. Care should be taken to see that the contact surfaces are dampened before fixing the form. Shutter forms should be effectively sealed to avoid uncontrolled leakages. If the repaired surface needs replastering then hack the surface immediately after removal of shutters.

Surface Preparation:

• Surfaces to be reconcreted with Perma Recrete should be clean, sound, free from any laitance or any deleterious material. Weak portions of the concrete should be cut back to sound surface. Reinforcements should be cleaned to remove rust and supplement additional reinforcements wherever required. Damp down the concrete surface before fixing the shutter forms.

Perma Latex - AR is based on acrylic co-polymers, special adhesive and bonding chemicals along with hydrofillic agent. Perma Latex - AR gives a versatile performance in many civil engineering applications. The product is milky white liquid.

• Perma Hypercrete combines waterproofing with tough and hard-wearing surface. Develops excellent bond with most of the building materials. It is highly durable in continuous wet conditions. It is not affected by UV rays and by chemicals ranging from mild acids to strong alkalies. Most properties of the coating improve with age. Bonding aid for new and old concrete / mortar repair and patching of concrete.

• The surface should be free from all dust or foreign matters. All concrete surfaces should be thoroughly pre-wetted for at least one hour prior to the application of Perma Hypercrete coating, by pouring water on flat surface or by vigorously spraying water on vertical / inclined surfaces. Before treating the surface with Perma Hypercrete, any excess water should be removed so that surface is only damp. In no case there should be standing water or a shiny wet surface. Depressions may be filled and levelled using Perma Hypercrete modified mortar prepared by the mixing 1 kg cement, 1.5 kg silica sand and 0.5 kg Perma Hypercrete.
• Perma Hypercrete is mixed with neat cement in the ratio of 1 kg cement: 1 kg of Perma Hypercrete. It should be stirred thoroughly until no air bubbles remain in the mix. The mix has to be applied by brush on the prepared surface. Two or more coats are recommended. First coat should be allowed to air dry for 5-6 hours before application of second coat.

• Perma Hypercrete system must be applied at temperature above 10°C. and preferably below, 35°C. During the first 12 hours of curing, it must be protected from abrasion, rain and other adverse conditions. No traffic should be allowed on a Perma Hypercrete treated surface within 48 hours of application. After application of final coat of Perma Hypercrete the surface should be allowed to dry for 2 – 6 Hours. After maximum period of 6 hours of final application, moist curing should be done for the next 24 hours by way of mist spraying. During this period at no point of time should the Perma Hypercrete coating be left completely dry or submerged in water. Following moist curing the Perma Hypercerete coating should be allowed to air dry for 3 days before submersion in water or putting the surface to regular use.

Perma Polyseal is a two part poly sulphide sealant based on poly sulphide resin, curing agents, select fillers, plasticisers and vulcanising agents. when the base and curing a get are mixed it forms an uniform colour mass.

Which can either be poured in to the horizontal expansion joints or gunned into the vertical joint depending upon the grade. Essentially Perma Polyseal is available in tow grades. pouring grade for horizontal application and gun grade for non slump vertical application.

Primary Uses :

• Perma Polyseal is an expansion joint sealant useful in sealing horizontal as well as vertical joints. Perma Polyseal is used for sealing reappearing cracks on the roofs, shear cracks in the brick works and joints in water tanks.

• Perma Polyseal is used for sealing gaps between the building material of different structures such as concrete and wood, glass and aluminum, and exterior glazing. It is used in expansion joints varying between 6mm to 50 mm.

• All joints to be sealed with Perma Polyseal should be dry, clean and free from any dirt, dust, rust, scale or any protective lacquer or grease.
• Expansion joint fill material (bitumen impregnated board) shall be tightly packed in position so that a clear joint depth as per joint design is available.
• As a thumb rule depth of joint is taken as half of its width and the depth is not less than 6 mm. A bond-breaking tape or cello tape is fixed on the joint fill board to avoid direct contact between Perma Polyseal and the Board.
• Apply masking tape on top surface on either side of the joint to avoid staining of neighbouring area.

• If the sides of the joints are porous and irregular use Polysulphide primer which is a two component material.
• Mix the two components and brush apply on the sides of the joint.
• When the primer becomes tack free apply or pour Perma Polyseal in the joint.

• Transfer the entire contents of the small curing agent pack to the larger pack of the base and mix thoroughly for five minutes by electric drill with blades or manually till a uniform consistency paste is obtained.

• Pour the mixed Perma Polyseal in the joints and finish the joints using rounded spatula or similar object to bring about a smooth surface and also remove any air which might have got entrapped during mixing.
• It is advisable to finish the surface slightly concave to keep the Perma Polyseal unaffected by heavy trolley movements.

Perma Crackfill : or Concrete Repair Mortar is a specially formulated repair mortar designed to fully meet the requirement of effectively repairing cracks in plasters and in concrete, avoiding the use of costly sealants and putties.

• It is essential that the surface of the concrete to be repaired is sound, clean and uncontaminated.
• Chase the crack and form a neat “V” shaped groove at least 6mm wide on surface.
• Damaged plasters can be cut out in more or less square sides.
• Defective material must be removed carefully using reducing tools, needle guns or sharp tools and chipping hammers.
• Force must not be applied as it will damage the sound material beneath.
• Concrete Repair Mortar or Perma Crackfill is a dry powder when mixed with water it forms a creamy consistency paste which is ready for use in repairing cracks and repairing plasters. Concrete Repair Mortar or Perma Crackfill is reinforced with alkali resistant fibers. perma crackfill is available in grey and off white colour powder.

• Perma Crack fill replaces costly sealant and putties. It is non shrink, hence possibility of shrinkage cracks are non existent. It has high tensile strength and good adhesion property. The finish achieved is sufficiently smooth. Good resistance to freeze / thaw cycles, carbonation and attack by chlorides. Conventional curing is not required.

• The product is a blend of special cements, special additives and selected grades fine aggregates along with alkali resistant glass fibres.
• The product when mixed with water in the proportion of 3.5 Volume of powder to one volume of water results in a workable paste which can be trowelled to a fine finish.

• Start curing after the material has sufficiently hardened for two days and then allow it to dry out slowly (i.e. protect from rapid drying due to wind, sun or excessive heat). Use of Curing Compound is ideal in repairs.

• Clean the surface to remove any dust, dirt, spillovers of oil, grease or loose particles.
• Remove the existing POP or the Putty to expose the plaster surface.
• Widen the crack to at least 2mm width and moisten the crack with water.
• If the surface is porous or difficult apply a primer prepared by mixing Crackfill-Paste and water in the proportion of 1 : 1.
• Apply Perma Crackfill-Paste in the crack with a putty blade or spatula effectively making sure that it is totally filled up.
• Tool the surface to obtain an even smooth and unbroken surface.
• Allow it to cure. Upon full cure apply putty or pop whatever was removed before the application of Perma Crackfill-Paste.
